# Our Goal
The goal of the Open Source IT Network is to provide a place where like-minded individuals and small businesses can find each other with the intention of building business relationships with one another to supplement one set of services with another.
# For Example
A small IT business may offer system administration services to their customers (...this will, of course, be for Open Source systems). At some point, a
discussion about a new website may crop up. The IT business may not have the
capacity or expertise to provide a new website but there may be an individual or
small business with the same Open Source focus that can. Using the
Open Source IT Network, these two entities can find each other and connect,
potentially setting up an ongoing relationship into the future, benefiting both.
To put it another way, the Open Source IT Network is intended to fight against the weight of larger BigTech supporting, box-selling, profit hungry businesses by working alongside each other as one big Open Source Team, providing professional and trustworthy human services to our customers.
# Usage
To find individuals and businesses with certain expertise, please find a list of
tags in the Expertise section.
Individuals and businesses can also provide their location so they can be found by selecting a location in the Location section.
Clicking on either an expertise or location tag will show all involved individuals and businesses who have those expertise or are in those locations.
You can also use the Search feature where you can find involved people by their name and description.

If you're a freelance individual, small business, or even a larger service provider who likes to assist smaller businesses in the Open Source world, you're welcome to add yourself to our community!

Bascially anyone who uses Free and Open Source Software in their work life.
